Design of places
The teamCenter examines the region where a place is to be built or redesigned and explicates the dialogic relationships that it can offer. Each place has its own potential of relationships: the potential of a 1000 m2 plot on a sea shore on which a new place is to be created is quite different from that of an 80 m2 apartment to be renovated, but only through explicating their respective potential for dialogic relationships will it be possible to create a life enriching place on each of them.
This examination of prevailing spatial conditions is accompanied by an exploration that employs the [I-place] procedure developed by Dr. Peled to make future inhabitants aware of those relationships with the future place that will be right for them.
On the basis of this information and within the limits of environmental and financial constrains, the team designs the future place so that it will enrich the lives of its inhabitants and enhance their well-being.
